I am Emma and I am the owner of BLOOM. I grew up on a beef and dairy farm just outside Wem, north of Shrewsbury, where I have always had a passion for nature and the outdoors. I trained to become a florist at Reaseheath College in Nantwich, combining my training with a mixture of helping in my local flower shop and selling bouquets and arrangements online from home.

It was during my time working in a florist when I realised what I enjoy most about working with flowers - the emotion and human connection that comes with them. Flowers are something that we use to help show we care during those important occasions. Whether it be to bring celebrations and joy with new births, new jobs or weddings; or to bring us comfort in some of the most difficult times that we face; what we can't say with words, we say with flowers.

After realising that building a face-to-face relationship with my customers is the route that I wanted to take with BLOOM, this is where my Mum came in. She has been running her business, Nails & Beauty, at 93 Frankwell for the past 20 years, so what a great opportunity to bring the two together under one roof..... and here I am!
